Where the Cabins Sit Relative to Granby
Lake Granby is the largest of the three connected lakes in the area, south of Grand Lake and Shadow Mountain Lake. The cabins are in Grand Lake itself rather than on Granby, which puts them closer to the national park entrance while keeping all three bodies of water within a short drive.
The town of Granby, roughly half an hour south, is the last place of any size on the drive in and is where most groups arriving from out of state stop for groceries before the final stretch.
Three Lakes, One Base
Staying in Grand Lake rather than on Granby means the marina, the boardwalk main street and the park entrance are all local, with the larger lake a short drive away when you want it.
The Lakeside Cabin sits about 30 feet above Shadow Mountain Lake with a deck fire pit and porch swing, and the Mid-Mod Cabin looks out over the same water — so a group wanting to be near a lake rather than near the park has options within the four.
What the Four Properties Offer
Capacity runs 11, 12, 16 and 16, reaching 55 across all four for a group taking more than one. Every property has a private hot tub, a dedicated game room and a full kitchen sized for cooking for a crowd.
