Lakeview Lodge — The flagship property. Eight-foot floor-to-ceiling windows with panoramic Grand Lake and Mt. Baldy views. Private hot tub overlooking the lake. Pickleball Lodge — The property for active groups. Grand Lake's only private cabin with a full outdoor pickleball court. 900 sq ft game room with pool table, ping pong, and arcade. Viking professional appliances, natural gas grill, ranch-plan layout for easy group flow. Dogs welcome.
Mid-Size Group Options: Lakeside Cabin & Mid-Century Modern
For groups of 11 or 12, the Lakeside Cabin and Mid-Century Modern offer the same quality and privacy without paying for rooms that won't be used. Both properties have private hot tubs, full kitchens, and game rooms.
Lakeside Cabin — New log construction perched 30 feet above Shadow Mountain Lake. Five bedrooms, three bathrooms, sleeps 12. Panoramic lake views, deck fire pit, porch swing, pool table, natural gas grill and smoker. Dog-friendly.
Mid-Century Modern — Built 1972, fully remodeled 2022. Three bedrooms plus a sleeping loft with two full pull-outs, sleeps 11. Hot tub with Shadow Mountain Lake and Mt. Baldy views, game room with ping pong and foosball. The most architecturally distinctive property in the collection.
Booking Multiple Cabins for Very Large Groups
For groups of 20, 30, or 40+ — multi-family reunions, large corporate groups, extended family events — multiple cabins can be booked simultaneously. The Lakeview Lodge and Pickleball Lodge together sleep 32 guests. All four properties together accommodate up to 55 guests across separate but nearby properties in the Grand Lake area.
All four properties are within a short drive of each other, making split-group coordination easy. Dinner at the Lakeview Lodge, morning hikes from the Pickleball Lodge, a day on the lake from the Lakeside Cabin — large group itineraries that span multiple properties are logistically straightforward in Grand Lake's compact geography.
What to Do in Grand Lake with a Large Group
Rocky Mountain National Park's western entrance is 5 minutes from every property — but it is not the only option. Grand Lake's main street has restaurants, bars, shops, and boat rentals within walking distance of the lake. The lake itself offers kayaking, paddleboarding, fishing, and motorboat rentals in summer. In winter, the area is a snowmobile destination with groomed trails and rental outfitters in town.
